With conductors of CCA, copper-clad aluminium, the cable has a sustained signal performance at a significantly lower price. The cable is best suited for home installations where it is plugged in and forgotten.
Although the cable is made with household material, it still meets the requirements specified in Cat6, which allows 10Gbps at distances up to 55m between connected devices.
For applications with a repetitive connections or Power over Ethernet, cables with clean copper conductors are recommended.
